The “Home” project discusses the continuing increase in world poverty and the discomfort of the lack of a secure home. In the study of social classes it is referred to as economic inequality which refers to a concept of producing benefits based on individual skills. While wars, status, development of a state, skin color, politics, natural disasters and more are among the most influential factors for personal financial developments. The installation involves the use of recycled cardboard from industrial boxes that will cover the floor, walls and ceiling (where possible) of a space, giving new shapes to the rooms and thus reconstructing the "interior" of a precarious dwelling. The visitor is invited to "enter" and share the work that involves the whole environment and to observe reality from a point of view that is foreign to his everyday life.

Paolo Incarnato’s installation Home (2018) at the Isaiah Mansion (House) builtin 1923 on Patision Street, which testifies to the glamor of another era, refers to the liquidity and the subversion of our reality. The artist covers the floor, the walls and the ceiling of the room of a former luxury apartment with recycled cardboards from industrial boxes, thus giving a new form to the space. His new risky “dwelling” specifically addresses the issue of global housing shortage, which has emerged from climate change, the continuous increase of poverty and socio-political instability that often lead to violent population displacements. The visitor is invited to “experience” indirectly the environment, the reality and the daily life of these vulnerable social groups, whic hmost of the time, unfortunately, are just considered a number and a burden for society.
